Indulgence often pampers the children and is considered as one of the key reasons that triggers off adolescent drug addiction in this luxury awash world. The concept of nuclear family and family planning mostly restrain the couple from having multiple offspring. On the other the working couple can hardly spend adequate time with their kids. The child feels lonely and isolated for obvious reasons. The guilty conscious parents are found to indulge the children even knowingly.
The combination of such loneliness and indulgence often pave the way for drug addiction for the kids.
The adolescent drug addiction has become the key concern in today’s world as substance abuses at this vulnerable stage of life develops a lot of complexes. The way it decays their health, it also affects their psychological growth.
The duo can build up even bitter rivalry between the growing kid and the society and an adolescent drug addict often tends to hide himself within a pseudo shell created by him.
The adolescent drug addicts hardly express their interests in education and other routine activities. Rather, the misplaced exuberance forces them to trace out the group of kids who belong to the same school of thoughts. It may sound ridiculous, but the fact of life remains that some of them even term their parents as butchers.

It is quiet unwise to advice the parents to become rough with the iron stick to control the kids. On the contrary, they should never show extra care to the kids so that they start reading it as indulgence.
It is the inherent smartness of the intelligent kids that enables them to camouflage their parents. A sensible parents will never commit such a blunder.
The growing rate of adolescent drug addict can be termed as a curse of the modern socio-economic condition. We need to fight in unison.
