Drug Addiction can be not only termed as a social scourge, it can be also called a monster that triggers of selfishness, brutality and even crimes. It is good to watch in a movie that the villain is going for an operation after a few dozes of cocaine or marijuana or a few sips of alcohol, but life is not a movie.
The hard reality never hesitates to punish the drug addict socially, emotionally and economically.
Whether it is the adolescent drug addiction or the addiction of the elderly aged people, drug addiction is treated as an unsocial and illegal acts. In fact, some of the drugs have been forbidden by several controlling authorities.
Alas! even stringent rules could not stop the tryst of the drug addicts in the formal or informal den.
Like most of the other facets, drug addicts have mastered the technology of escaping the rules and stipulations of most of the authorities. While an adolescent attempts to hide the drugs behind the cupboard, the matured professional might use his laptop bag to hide his most invaluable energy pills.
Whatever it may be, no rule could annihilate the dangerous drug addiction as yet. Rather, the continuously growing number of drug addicts have become a serious concern for everybody.
Perhaps it is the social awareness and constant education that can reduce such disastrous drug addiction!
